• Packing & unpacking services
• Loading & unloading
• Local moving within Ontario (GTA, Durham Region, Cobourg)
• Pickup & delivery assistance

The availability of services may vary depending on location, time, and scheduling.

3. Booking & Scheduling

By submitting a booking request:

• You agree to provide accurate information (addresses, inventory details, timing, special instructions).
• A booking is confirmed only after written/email confirmation from KMS Ontario.
• We may request a deposit to reserve your moving date.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule depending on slot availability. Advance notice (24–48 hours) may be required.

4. Pricing & Estimates

A. Estimates

All quotes provided (online, phone, or in-person) are estimates based on the information you provide.

Final pricing may change due to:

• Additional items not mentioned earlier
• Long carries, stairs, elevators, waiting time
• Extra packing requirements
• Special or heavy items needing extra labor
• Delays caused by customer

B. Hourly Rates

For hourly moves, the billing starts when the team arrives and includes:

• Loading time
• Travel time
• Unloading time

C. Payment

We accept:

• Online payments
• Bank transfers
• Credit/debit cards
• Cash for some services

Full payment is required upon completion of service unless agreed otherwise.

5. Cancellation Policy

Customer Cancellations

• Cancellation within 24 hours of the move may incur a fee.
• No-shows or last-minute cancellations may be charged the full deposit (if any).

Company Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel due to:

• Unsafe conditions
• Severe weather
• Driver or equipment issues
• Illegal or restricted items

We will notify you promptly.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Be present (or have a representative present) at the time of the move
• Ensure accurate inventory details
• Confirm parking and building access
• Secure valuables and personal documents
• Disclose fragile, delicate, or heavy items
• Pack items safely if packing service was not booked

7. Restricted Items

KMS Ontario does not move the following:

• Hazardous materials
• Explosives, flammable liquids
• Illegal substances
• Pets or live animals
• Perishable food
• Jewelry, cash, or essential documents (keep these with you)

8. Liability & Damages

We take care with all items; however:

A. Limited Liability

KMS Ontario is not liable for:

• Pre-existing damages
• Items packed by the customer
• Fragile items not properly packed
• Electronics or appliances that fail internally
• Items requiring disassembly unless agreed
• Damage caused by weather conditions
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

B. Reporting Damages

Any visible damage must be reported on the same day of moving.
Claims reported after 24 hours may not be accepted.

9. Website Usage

When using our website:

• You will not post spam or harmful content
• You will not try to hack, disrupt, or misuse the site
• All content (text, logo, images) is owned by KMS Ontario
• Copying or using our content without permission is prohibited
